Stir fried tofu


  1. Tofu- 200 grams
  2. Cooking oil- 1 tablespoon
  3. Onion- 1 small sized
  4. Garlic- 2 cloves
  5. Spring onion- 1/4th cup
  6. Salt and pepper hemptyful dip- 1.5 tablespoon
  7. Salt- As per taste
  8. Vinegar- 1 tablespoon
  9. Light soy sauce- 1 tablespoon
  10. Sesame oil- 1 teaspoon



  1. Cut the tofu into even sized cubes and blanch in hot water. This helps improve the texture of tofu.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Saute chopped onion and garlic and cook on a slow flame till fragrant and soft.
  4. Add the salt and pepper dip, vinegar, soy sauce, seasoning and some water to form a sauce.
  5. Add the tofu and toss till the sauce coats the tofu.
  6. Garnish with cold pressed sesame oil and spring onion.
  7. Serve hot.
